Nyepi Day (Seclusion Day), March 25, 2020
Nyepi is an important religious event in Bali and marks the beginning of the New Year in the Balinese Hindu calendar. This year, Nyepi falls on Wednesday, March 20, 2020. On Nyepi Day from 6 am to 6 am the following day, all daily activities throughout Bali will stop. Shops and offices will be closed and people are not allowed to go out into the streets, engage in entertainment activities, turn on lights or make noise which may disturb others. Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed for Nyepi Day. All activity will resume to normal at 6 am on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
The resort facilities will operate as usual; however there will be very little outdoor lighting during the night and there will be no transportation services to and from the resort. Our pools and garden areas are available for your enjoyment.
Operational hours of Bistro Batu Kali will be slightly adjusted in order to conform to local customs.

· Breakfast and lunch open as usual
· Nyepi Eve a la carte dinner, start at 4pm till 10pm
Nyepi Day, March 25, 2020
Bistro Batu Kali
· Buffet breakfast: 7 am - 11 am
· Closed for lunch and dinner
Pool Bar:
· Poolside BBQ: 11 am – 6 pm
· No Happy Hour at Pool Bar during Nyepi Day
Swimming Pool
· Swimming pool will open from 7 am to 6 pm
Room Service:
· Available from 7 am – 10 pm
· Supper is not available
The Spa facility will open from 9 am to 6 pm. In room or villa massage is available from 6 pm to 9 pm. Advance reservation is essential.
In addition, as per a new regulation of the Government of Bali, all television providers including cable channels will not broadcast during Nyepi Day. A collection of books as well some choices of table games are available upon request at our Front Desk at the Lobby.
If you travel over that important day, please ensure that you are well prepared for this auspicious occasion which happens once a year, only in Bali – Island of the Gods.
