Bali Charity Update
On 22nd November 2024 the Amadea Cares team visited and continued support to underprivileged family Mr. Wayan Mawa at Angseri Village in Tabanan Regency, Bali. This family of four consist of two lovely kids who have lost their parents and now live with their grandpa and grandma. Wayan Mawa and his wife make living from farming which give them only a little income. So to support two kids could be a challenge.
During the visit we brought them some basic goods such as pack of rice and cooking oil as well as pocket money for the kids and school needs. We were excited to see them well and hope that the kids will finish their study well and do as much as we can to support them. Mr. Mawa family thanked Amadea team and the support from guests thru Amadea Cares funding. They really appreciate this kindness.

25th October 2024 Amadea Cares distributed red bags donation to Smile Foundation Bali.

In a heartwarming collaboration, Amadea Resort and Villas, in partnership with Yayasan Senyum Bali, has successfully sponsored a crucial medical operation for Putu Kyara, a spirited three months old girl with a craniofacial disability. The operation took place on October 10, 2024 at Prof Ngurah Hospital in Denpasar, marking a significant milestone in Kyara’s journey toward a brighter future.

On February 23rd, 2024 a group of Amadea staff members visited family of the late Mr. Komang Sumiarsa, our former Security Supervisor. Mr. Komang passed away one year ago due to illness. Now his wife has to raise and support the live of their three young children.
During the visit we brought them some basic goods such as pack of rice and cooking oil as well as pocket money for the kids.
We were excited to see them recover well with the new life they now have. Everyone of us hope that the kids will finish their study well and do as much as we can to support them.

On 12th October 2023, Amadea Cares funded an operation for a 7years old girl from Maluku Island by the name of Wili Nagita Leko. Wili went for cleft operation at local hospital and we are glad to see his beautiful smile as well as the smile of his little family.

Every month our Housekeeping Team collect around 4 to 5 kilograms of left over soap bar from the guest rooms. It will end up at the landfield if it is not properly handled.
Since 2017 Amadea Resort & Villas participates in "Soap for Hope" program which is initiated by Diversey Indonesia in collaboration with The Trans Resort Bali and Rotary Club. Our team collects all left over soap from guest rooms, clean and put them in temporary storage. Once it reach 10 kilograms our team will transfer the soap to The Trans Resort Bali. Together with soap collection from other hotels they will be delivered to Diversey who with their team will recycle the left over soap thru set of method and procedure into a new soap bar. Rotary Club Bali will then take part to distribute the soap to communities in need around Bali island and beyond.

To coincide with Christmas and New Year celebrations, a number of socially-inspired activities took place during the month of January with a special emphasis on giving back to the Balinese community. Staff members paid a visit to the Putra “Widhya Asih” Orphanage in Badung on 27th January 2023 to spend quality time with a group of underprivileged children.

On 26th January 2023, Amadea Cares funded an operation for a 4 month old baby boy from Singaraja Regency by the name of I Ketut Abhisaka Widya Prasta. Ketut went for cleft operation at local hospital and we are glad to see his beautiful smile as well as the smile of his little family.

On 18th June 2021 we visited family of Nyoman Mawa at Angsri Village, Tabanan regency. We are very happy that he and his wife and two grandchildren are all fine and happy. This time we bring some food, cooking oil, clothes and school stationaries which is donated from our staff.

Beside helping the funding of medical surgery for kids with cranio facial dissability which we have been doing since 2012, this year Amadea Cares enlarge the program with commitment to support families like this family for at least one full year. This family will be our pilot project and hopefully we will be able to support more families in the future.

On November 23, 2018 we visited the Smile House in Denpasar to see two lovely kids who have undergone cleft patio operation, Aditya Rifky, 8 months old boy from Karangasem Regency and Ni Ketut Sumartini, 3 months old little girl from Buleleng Regency. Both of them are from under privilege family, with generous support from our guest and staff Amadea Cares was able to support the funding for those two kids and also we have delivered our Donation box.

On March 12th, 2018 essential surgeries were performed for a young children requiring urgent medical assistance under this program. Ardini Zikra Hibbi (4 months olds) both recently received brand new smiles after undergoing procedures to correct cleft palate deformities. These little boys now have the opportunity to grow up without affliction and later become productive members of society.
And also we delivered the 28th Donation box to Yayasan Senyum.

On May 23 essential surgeries were performed for a young children requiring urgent medical assistance under this program. Gede Suyasa (4 months olds) both recently received brand new smiles after undergoing procedures to correct cleft palate deformities. These little boys now have the opportunity to grow up without affliction and later become productive members of society.

16th March 2017, Amadea Cares delivered 23rd Donation Box to Smile Foundation Bali
On Jan 12th a group of our staff, representing Amadea Cares, went to Panti Asuhan Salam (orphanage) in Tabanan, about 1 hour drive northwest of Seminyak to share a little bit of things they may need. Interacting with the kids is truly rewarding experience. We share a lot of laugh with fun games and quiz.
Thanks to Salam Orphanage for having us, thanks to our guests for contributing to Amadea Cares initiatives. Together we bring more smile in Bali.

I Komang fredi Antara (13th patient) from Badung Regency 9.5 months. He was born with labio, palato and genato and this cute little boy went for craniofacial operation on Wednesday 15th June 2016 in Denpasar. Amadea Cares is fully finance for his operation, thanks to the generous support from in house guests who took part. We can't wait to see her smiling again.

On 20th August 2013 the team from Amadea Cares, our Corporate Social Responsibility Program, visited the orphanage, in an effort to share the holiday spirit of Idul Fitri with those less fortunate. We hosted a fun party for the children with games, activities, magic and music. Our Housekeeping team also conducted an informative session and demonstrated skills to help the youngsters maintain a healthy lifestyle. Lastly, we made a donation of essential goods and cash to help cover the daily operational costs of this non-profit care facility.

On May 29th in commemorating the 1st anniversary of Amadea Resort & Villas, team of staff went to visit Semara Putra orphanage in Klungkung Regency. Beside helping the orphanage with financial support we also share knowledge of housekeeping. Tricks from our magician also keep all kids entertained during the visit.
