Amadea Cares Paid Social Visit to Widhya Asih Orphanage

As part of Christmas and New Year celebrations, a number of socially-inspired activities took place during the month of January with a special emphasis on giving back to the Balinese community. On January 26, 2023 staff members of Amadea Resort & Villas paid a visit to the “Widya Asih” Orphanage in Badung to spend quality time with a group of underprivileged children. 

Our team organized fun games as well as an uplifting session to share dreams, hopes and aspirations for the future. A significant donation was also made to help with the operational costs of running this facility that provides a nurturing home environment for local youngsters in need.

This year Asparagus, the Amadea’s street front restaurant, also took part in this initiative by sponsoring delicious yet healthy meals for the children.   

Amadea Cares is the umbrella for a number of social initiatives including sponsor for medical assistant for children with craniofacial disability, scholarship for underprivileged children in remote villages, food drive for orphanages and more. Click here to see all the activities.
