If Japanese drink ‘Sake’, Western countries have whiskey, Russian has their vodka here the Balinese has ‘Arak’ the traditional liquor of Bali. Arak Bali relies on the fermentation of liquid sap from the coconut tree call Nira and adding specialized of sweets called Aren Lontar alongside other ingredients. The fermentation of Arak Bali is about 3 days and followed by distillation to extract the alcohol.

To preserve the Balinese culture and introduce them to the international visitors our creative bar team at Asparagus have come up with 6 distinctive Balinese Signature Cocktails based on Arak Bali. 
  • Arak Lemongrass, a concoction of Arak with coconut liquor, lemon juice and lemongrass. 
  • Arak Destiny, a mixture of Arak with homemade rosemary syrup, cranberry juice and lemon juice
  • Arak in Paradise, combination of Arak with mint leaf, strawberry, lemon juice topped with soda
  • Tropical Asmara, a love potion made from Arak, lemon juice, pineapple juice and homemade hibiscus syrup
  • Mango Arak Cooler, where Arak Bali meets mango, basil and lemon juice
  • Lychee Sensation,  a perfect blend of Arak, lychee liquor, lemon juice and fresh mint leaf 
 
Guests can some and join others to a journey of local flavor at Asparagus to taste the exotic cocktails and enjoy special promo “Buy 2 Get 3” during Happy Hours from 4 to 7 pm daily.
