Balinese Bliss is a 90 minute ritual of pure pampering that includes a foot bath, traditional massage, body scrub and a leisurely soak in a flower bath. Normally price at Rp 495,000 per person it can now be experienced for the special price of just Rp. 395,000 net per person or Rp 750,000 net per couple, normally Rp 990,000.

-Galungan and Kuningan Day – Victory of Dharma against Adharma
Bali's religious calendar is based on a 210 day cycle that is enriched with auspicious dates and colourful rituals. Over the coming month the island’s Hindu community will celebrate Galungan on 24th July 2019, which marks the beginning of a 10 day ceremonial festival. Galungan is a time when the Balinese return home to their ancestral villages to pray in their family temples. It also involves elaborate offerings to appease the Gods as well as the unseen elements of the underworld.
Kuningan is the culmination of the 10 days long Galungan festival where a number of symbolic rites will be performed over those days. This is an opportunity for the Balinese to honour the spirits of defied ancestors and express gratitude for the gift of life, perhaps similar to those celebrated during Day of the Death in Mexico
-Bali Kite Festival
Bali Kites Festival took place at Padang Galak Beach – Sanur, it will be held around July – August 2019.
Traditional giant kites are made and own competitively by teams from the local and international teams. The event is a seasonal religious festival intended to send a message to the Hindu gods to create abundant crops and harvests.
-Bali Art Festival
The annual festival of Bali Art festival held until 14th July 2019 around Art Centre Denpasar. The big festival introducing about the Balinese Art and Culture. This inspiring month-long festival will feature daily performances and exhibitions in the extensive grounds of the Art Centre Denpasar.
Amadea 8th Anniversary Celebration
June 1st, 2019 marked the eight year of Amadea Resort & Villas with a Tumpengan ritual, an Indonesian tradition in celebrating special days, highlighted with yellow rice cone and all yummy condiments. It is humble celebration combined with staff gathering with foods and drinks served at the beautiful setting of Sabha Room.
Staff Outing
At Amadea Resort & Villas, we believe in the mantra that a happy team contributes to happy guests. Therefore, our Annual Staff Outing was conducted over two consecutive days on May 25 and 26 to ensure that every employee had a chance to participate. This year we decided to get tropical trekking in Taro Village conducted by Mason adventure tours.
Red Bag
A corporate Social Responsibility program that focuses on giving back to the local community - Amadea cares was launched on 14th February 2012. Funding to this worthy cause is set aside from the resort’s CSR fund and staff members will contribute directly from their respective salaries. Each in-house guest will also be invited to participate by donating just Rp.5.000 during their stay, which is less than the price of a single drink. All funds raised through Amadea Cares will be distributed to a number of carefully selected organizations requiring support.
The first recipient of a donation from Amadea Cares will be Yayasan Senyum Bali also known as the Bali Smile Foundation. This non-profit charity organization was established in 2005 by Mary Northmore, a Bali resident originally from the UK. It is an independent foundation that brings essential healthcare to local people with severe craniofacial disabilities.
How can you support?
Other than donating Rp 5,000 on check out, you can also participate in our Red Bag Program. You might like to donate goods (new or unused) such as clothing, shoes, accessories, linen, books, household goods etc to be sold at SMILE SHOPS where the proceed will be used to help running the foundation. Contact our Guest Service Assistant who will be very pleased to provide you our Red Bag and will pass all goods you donate to Yayasan Senyum Bali on your behalf.
