Filling up your in-room fridge when staying at Amadea now get easier. A new service “Stock Your Mini Bar” is now available which enables you to buy favorite drinks to fill up you fridge directly from the convenience of your room. Selections of soft drinks, beers, soda and snacks are available for purchase around the clock. And it is all at the price you found them in the nearby mini mart. 

Since the launch this new service has received a lot of appreciation from guests for the thoughtfulness, giving more time for guests to enjoy their time.

Amadea Cares Sponsored Three Months Old Girl to Regain Her Smile.

Amadea Cares is our Corporate Social Responsibility program that focuses on giving back to local people in need. Not everyone on the island is fortunate enough to benefit from Bali’s lucrative tourism industry or have access to quality healthcare. Therefore, we have taken it upon ourselves to help some of the most vulnerable members of the community. Amongst other things, we have made it our main mission to fund craniofacial surgeries and restore quality of life to young children from impoverished families. 

On January 20th  essential surgeries were performed for a young children requiring urgent medical assistance under this program. Baby Gusti Ayu Devi Wahyuni, 3 months old from Buleleng Regency in Bali recently received brand new smiles after undergoing procedures to correct cleft palate deformities. These little girl now have the opportunity to grow up without affliction and later become productive members of society.
Amadea Cares thank the generous donation from in house guests who donated some cash at check out  as well as from Amadea staff members. Together we make this world a better place for everyone.

Bali's Cultural Calendar

 

Bali’s religious calendar is based on a 210 day cycle that is enriched with auspicious dates and colourful rituals. Over the coming month the island’s Hindu community will celebrate Galungan on 19th February 2020, which marks the beginning of a 10 day ceremonial festival. Galungan is a time when the Balinese return home to their ancestral villages to pray in their family temples. It also involves elaborate offerings to appease the Gods as well as the unseen elements of the underworld.

Kuningan is the culmination of the 10 days long Galungan festival where a number of symbolic rites will be performed over those days. This is an opportunity for the Balinese to honour the spirits of defied ancestors and express gratitude for the gift of life, perhaps similar to those celebrated during Day of the Death in Mexico.
