Amadea Resort & Villas celebrates its 5th anniversary this June and the past few years have been an awesome journey for everyone involved. As with any property, there have been a few hiccups  but we persevered and managed to reach this milestone with several awards under our belt. Since our launch back in 2011, we have made it our main mission to continually improve every aspect of our product and its service standard. This has involved relying on guest feedback where we have listened carefully to all concerns and made necessary changes. 

Over the years, our efforts have been recognized with a number of significant awards from Trip Advisor with annual Certificates of Excellence as well as Traveller’s Choice Awards. We also received Gold Medals for two consecutive years from the Tri Hita Karana Foundation for adhering to Bali’s unique cultural traditions in all areas of operation. 

However, what we are most proud of is consistent acknowledgment from our contented guests as they check out. It is motivating to learn that they have had a wonderful stay, want to return again soon and will recommend the property to all their family and friends. While we still have a long way to go in Bali’s highly competitive hotel sector, the past 5 years have been precious. We express our deepest appreciation to all of our guests, business partners and staff members who have supported us along the way. 

Menjangan Dynasty Resort Beach Camp & Dive Centre Is Coming Soon

We are delighted to announce that the imminent launch for our latest sister property, Menjangan Dynasty Resort Beach Camp & Dive Centre, is scheduled for 1st August 2016. This new resort is located on an isolated peninsula covering some 16 hectares of prime tropical landscape. Surrounded on three sides by ocean and a calm lagoon with a white sandy beach, it promises to be the ultimate retreat in Northwest Bali. 

The resort will comprise of 24 tented suites and a choice tented villas featuring private plunge pools. Supporting facilities will include Bamboo Beach Club & Bar offering all day dining and a dedicated dive centre. With breathtaking views encompassing Bali National Park, Menjangan Island and East Java, the resort is the perfect spot to dive, enjoy a romantic break or just simply unplug from the world.

Annual Staff Outing 2016

At Amadea Resort & Villas, we believe in the mantra that a happy team contributes to happy guests. Therefore, our Annual Staff Outing was conducted over two consecutive days to ensure that every employee had a chance to participate. This year we decided to get sporty with a Mountain Cycling Tour starting in the traditional village of Bayung Gede. Riders followed a predominantly downhill route to the finishing point of the Elephant Safari Park in Taro. 

It was an exhilarating two hour ride that ventured down off-road tracks and through rural villages. Along the way, riders encountered a tangerine farm, lots of temples and productive rice fields. A delicious lunch was served upon completion. The tour provided a refreshing change from the buzz of Seminyak. Now everyone is feeling suitably recharged and ready to deliver the best possible service to our in-house guests.    

Bali Island Horse Riding

There are many modes of transport to explore the beauty of Bali, but perhaps the most uplifting one of all is riding on the back of a horse. With stables located at Yeh Gangga Beach, Bali Island Horse offers guided riding tours showcasing rural Bali and its traditional villages. A typical two hour ride ventures along the beach passing productive rice fields and Hindu temples. There is a small river to cross and a rest stop at a bat cave to take pleasure in exceptional cliff top views. This fun family activity takes place in Tabanan, which is a one hour drive from Seminyak. Contact our Guest Service Attendant at the Lobby to make the necessary booking arrangements. Bali Arts Festival 2016

One of the most anticipated cultural events on the local calendar is the annual Bali Arts Festival and this year it will take place from 11th June through until 09th July 2016. This inspiring month-long festival will feature daily performances and exhibitions in the extensive grounds of the Art Centre located on Jl. Nusa Indah in Denpasar. It is a platform to showcase some of Bali’s finest examples of traditional dance, music, drama, handicrafts and cuisine. There will also be a schedule of shows by delegations from other Indonesian islands and as well as from abroad.
