Bistro Batu Kali Gets A Revamp

After 5 years of successful operation, Bistro Batu Kali is getting a fresh new look. The project started in September and is being carried out in stages to ensure minimum disturbance. The interior is being redesigned to add more seating and enhance the lounge environment with brighter lighting and floor coverings. A wooden deck is also being added to create a casual street-front bar area.  

A revitalized menu was also recently launched and is highlighted by a selection of classic dishes alongside some flavoursome innovations that represent real value for money. Bistro Batu Kali is hoping to unveil the full results of its aesthetic make-over in preparation for the high season during the Christmas and New Year period. It promises a totally new experience for old friends and new.

Discover Bali With A Museum Visit

Although Seminyak is generally known for its laid-back vibe, trendy shops and great dining venues, there is also a more serious side to Bali involving its rich cultural heritage. There are a number of museums and galleries open to the public that delve into the island’s art and history. The Bali Museum in central Denpasar is spread across several buildings and pavilions with fine examples of local architecture. The collection here ranges from prehistoric pieces to traditional artefacts, ceremonial objects and textiles.

A number of art-related museums are also located in and around Ubud. Puri Lukisan Museum is home to the finest collection of modern traditional Balinese paintings and wood carvings on the island dating from the 1930’s. Similarly, the Neka Art Museum documents the development of Balinese themed paintings by local and foreign artists. Comment Card Winner

Feedback from our guests is an essential tool that helps us evaluate whether our products and services are up to standard. For this purpose, we have established a comment card system inviting guests to share their personal opinions at the end of their stay. Every completed card is read and discussed by our management team. Corrective action is taken whenever necessary and valuable suggestions are followed up on. Positive compliments regarding certain employees and their efforts are displayed on the staff notice board for everyone to see.

Every quarter we also conduct a lucky draw from all of the guest comment cards that have been received. For the July - September period, approximately 350 cards went into our draw on 21st October 2015.
