Latest News: Bali Visa on Arrival Extended to 43 Countries
March 9 - Indonesia has officially removed testing for domestic travelers, quarantine for overseas visitors and reinstates VISA on arrival.
As of March 22, 2022 Bali has reinstated the Visa On Arrival (VOA) for 42 nationalities (giving certain tourists a 30 day stay) and quarantine has been removed for fully vaccinated travellers.
VOA is valid for 30 days and can be extended one time for 30 days at the Immigration Office. So you can stay in Indonesia for a maximum of 60 days in total, after that you must leave the country. Current price is at Rp 500.000 per person. You need to pay for a visa in a special counter on the arrival point at the Bali’s airport in cash (USD, EUR, AUD or IDR). After that the visa should be stuck into passport in the Immigration control with stamp Visa On Arrival and the arrival date.

Also, from April 6th Citizens from 9 ASEAN countries can get a free 30-days visa on arrival: Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Free Visa is valid for 30 days and can’t be extended.

As of March 7 international travelers arriving in Bali are no longer mandated to do self quarantine. Instead every visitors is required to stay in a CHSE Certified hotel for minimum 3 nights and 4 days. While waiting for this period to complete visitors can travel anywhere in Bali provided their PCR test result is negative which is taken at the airport upon their arrival in Bali.
