All Amadea Staff Has Completed Covid 19 Vaccination

We are very delighted to inform all our Amadea friends that all of our staff has completed the second Covid 19 vaccine inoculation on May 20, 2021. This hopefully means we are ready to support the Indonesian government’s plan to reopen Bali for international tourist in the middle of the year.
Below we share the article from Bali Hotels Association of the same topic.

Sleeve Up, We Are All In This Together

Bali Hotels Association are fully supporting the Indonesian Government's vaccination program with the Bali Is My Life  #sleeveup campaign.  Bali Hotels Association has encouraged and supported  member hotels and resorts who have signed up to be vaccination sites.  We are all in this together is the message we continue to want to send out.

This latest campaign is called "Sleeve Up." It is a community wide initiative to encourage everyone to get vaccinated.  Simona Chimenti, the BHA Marketing and Media Relations Director  says "We continue to support both the National and Local  Government's plans in relation to achieving their vaccination goal.  Bali Governor and his administration is aiming to vaccinate at least 2.8 million people in 100 days, as officials seek to reach at least 70 percent of the province’s population to achieve herd immunity.  Nearly 140,000 people have so far been vaccinated, according to provincial government data, more than 44,000 of whom have received both of the required two doses since the province started vaccinating people in mid-January.

The mass vaccination program targeting people in Ubud, Nusa Dua, and Sanur are part of preparing for the province’s potential reopening to foreign tourism by the middle of this year.
Establishing these three green zones is part of the effort to open Bali’s tourism.

Indonesian officials are also proposing a “travel corridor arrangement” with several countries, which are deemed successful in containing the spread of the coronavirus, have high vaccination rates, and could offer reciprocal benefits, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno previously said — giving examples of countries like the Netherlands, China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Singapore.

The Balinese understand that being vaccinated is another important part of what is needed under the new health and safety CHSE protocols.
We continue to  encourage our Bali Hotels Association member hotels to support the vaccination as part of the comprehensive ‘Do it all!’ approach .

Bali Hotels Association member hotels and resorts ensure the safety and wellbeing of their guests, partners and staff remain top priority. As such, our member hotels and resorts have implemented health and  safety protocols as mandated by the government and official worldwide organizations. These include;
-Vaccination
-Mandatory wearing of masks except when dining and drinking and physical distance of 1.5 meters is maintained
- Temperatures checks
- Washing hands
- Registration with government contact tracing procedures.

Towel Creation That Makes You Smile

Amadea is a small but service-orientated hotel that always does its very best to stand out from the rest. Therefore, the members of the Housekeeping team have a unique way of brightening up every single day for in-house guests. After each room has been cleaned, our attendants will leave a little memento on the bed in the form of towel art. They have taken the skill of folding towels to the next level by creating a wide range of animals, flowers and even a cake for those extra special occasions. There’s even a loving pair of swans to greet honeymooners or couples celebrating their anniversary.

Guests are often amazed at what they find each day. From a dog wearing reading glasses to a cat or rabbit cuddled up on the pillow, there is no limit to the creativity. Often the Room Attendants get special requests and they have even managed to successfully make a man playing a drum as well as an angry bird. Daily towel art has become a highlight for everyone staying at Amadea and there is always an element of surprise when guests return to see what fun creation is decorating their bed.

Anyone of you have great memories with this towel art? Post your best photo collection of this to your Facebook or Instagram feed or story and tag our Facebook fan page (AmadeaBali) our our Instagram account @amadeabali. We will be happy to share them.
