Continuous Improvement

Continuous Improvement

To enhance satisfaction during each and every stay at Amadea, we endeavour to gather as much feedback from our guests as possible. While most comments that we receive are generally favourable, we also welcome constructive criticism which we take seriously and address immediately. One recent comment focused on the poor construction of the bathtubs in our Deluxe Pool Terrace Rooms resulting in the floor flooding after taking a shower. We are delighted to report that this problem has now been solved by simply modifying the edge of each bathtub. Now guests can shower with greater peace of mind knowing that the floor will remain dry and safe. In our continued quest for excellence, we are committed to providing guests with the very best products and services. However, we realise that there is always room for improvement – so keep the feedback coming!

Cultural Calendar

Cultural Calendar

Bali Arts Festival / 11th June – 9th July 2012
The Bali Arts Festival is the island’s biggest cultural celebration. It is a month long event of daily performances and exhibitions that bring together some Bali’s finest examples of traditional dance, music, drama, handicrafts and cuisine.

On display are trances from remote mountain slopes, village dances, food and offering contests, classical performances and new creations from the dance schools of Denpasar. There will also be shows of contemporary choreography by dance troupes and delegations from other Indonesian islands and as well as from abroad.

Visitors are welcome to come and experience the diversity of Balinese artistry in one convenient setting. The entire festival is staged in the extensive grounds of the Bali Arts Centre located on Jalan Nusa Indah in Denpasar.

Saraswati Day /16th June 2012
Saraswati is an auspicious day on Bali’s religious calendar that honours education and all forms of higher learning. Schools and universities around the island will mark this occasion by placing offerings of fruit and flowers on books and computers. Students then gather for a session of communal prayer to express gratitude for past achievements and guidance for future academic endeavours.

The beautiful Balinese Hindu Goddess of Knowledge, Dewi Saraswati, is the ultimate symbol of this day. She rides upon the back of an elegant swan resting on a bed of lotus flowers to show her eternal wisdom and holiness. In each of her four hands she bears a tool that is associated with humanity, science and the arts to emphasize that obtaining knowledge is a never ending cycle.
